I've been out of the comic collecting scene for a number of years now. Marvel has been struggling with many of its characters since the late 90's, trying to reinvent them for modern times… A necessary evil on their part no doubt. Though after experimentation with various art styles and marketing tactics, it has been a long road for them, and not one I cared to follow after a certain point t'would have seemed.

I must say though, after the recent launch of the new Psylocke mini-series, a character that, along with Elektra, has fueled much of my love for drawing women and swords. With pencils under the hand of the obviously very talented Harvey Tolibao, I may have been hasty to end my casual association with the comic world so abruptly. I'm not entirely certain where the story is going just yet. But just my instant infatuation with the art alone is going to insure I collect the rest of this set... Here's to hoping.

First, take the absolute worst thing you could possibly imagine getting hit in the face with.... And then wrap it in barbwire.... See, every situation can get worse.

No problem. Despite your hiatus from art you seem to have improved a bit.

"How are things in the Underworld?"
"Well, they're just fine. You know, a little dark, a little gloomy. And, as always, hey, full of dead people. What are ya gonna do?"
:iconnusquam-vir:
The presence of the granny in the back left is both horrifying and awesome. I lol'ed pretty hard.
